Three weeks from today I'll be flying through the air on my way to Beijing, China.  I can't believe that it's already so close!

I've been getting everything in order, including applying for my work visa, setting aside some money to convert into Chinese yuan, and working on my lesson plans that I'll be teaching to the students there.  I'm also trying to figure out a little bit of that crazy Mandarin language!  I posted a little bit of stuff that I've learned so far onto the "Learn Chinese" section of this page.  If you don't know anything about the language, seriously, at least check that part out.  It's pretty wild!

I'll probably post one more time before I leave, and then I'm hoping to keep this updated pretty regularly about my travels and experiences in the People's Republic of China.  Stay tuned!
